Kris Aquino Biography :The Queen of All Media

Kristina Bernadette Cojuangco Aquino-Yap was her given name and also known as Kris Aquino. She was born on February 14, 1971. She is a celebrity in movie and television industry. She become famous for her game shows, talk shoes, commercial endorsements, and movie leading role. She is a sibling of President elect Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Cojuangco Aquino III and the daughter of Philippine senator Benigno Aquino, Jr. and Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino, the former president of the Republic of the Philippines.

Kris was awarded as the “Queen of Controversy” for the movie Dido Dida, Sabay Tayo, her first movie. In 2004, she was proclaimed as the “Box Office Queen” for her two movies “Feng Shui” and “So… Happy Together”. In 2006, she regained the same title by the movie “Sukob” which is the top grossing Filipino film of all time. Kris is the owner and the Executive Editor of her ‘K! The Kris Aquino Magazine’. In December 2009, she displayed her personal home collection called ‘K Everyday’ with the partnership of ABS-CBN. This covers the kitchen and cooking collection, plastic collection, and stationery collection.

She is currently part of ABS-CBN contract actresses. She is prominently called the “The Queen of Talk” and “The Queen of all Media due to her success in different media like television, film, recording, publishing, as well as product advertisements.

Kris had relationship with  Phillip Salvador and they have gifted with a son name Joshua. Currently, she is now married and together with James Yap, a Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) professional player for the team Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants. His husband is 10 years younger than her. Kris had her second son name “Baby James” derived from his father’s name James. Baby James is born on April 19, 2007 on 5:52pm at Makati Medical Center in Makati City.
